Just come across a couple of bands that i thought a few of you might want to give a listen.

They are The Essex Green, Annie Hayden and Tilly and the Wall.

If you like Folk/Indie/country you will love these

Where are you going to watch them at?

I don't think they are planning to tour the UK anytime soon, but i am going to see Rilo Kiley, Tilly supported them last tour, in a couple of weeks

tilly sound interesting. unfortunately, i'll be out of town when they come to san francisco. i will however see rilo kiley (whoo hoo), wilco and spoon in june.

if you're into more uptempo elliot smithesque sounds (i know totally oxymoron), you should definitely check out my friend's band rogue wave. they go signed to sub pop last year and will put out a new album in sept/oct. here's the site in case you're interested ...

by the way, i just got back from seeing ... and you will know us by the trail of dead. simply put, it was the best f**ckin show i've seen in a while.

cheers,
young
